The interplay of horizontal and vertical lines embellishes ceilings and walls, showcasing a captivating two-toned timber batten design. Achieving meticulous geometric alignment across the expansive space was crucial, necessitating battens with impeccable dimensions.

The Covet Kabebari wood looking aluminum batten emerged as the unequivocal choice, boasting an impeccably straight structure, lightweight composition, and a concealed fixing system from the Covet Kabebari series, ensuring a seamless installation devoid of visible screws.

The authenticity of the Japanese-manufactured aluminum with a wood look appearance needed to be truly compelling, considering the close quarters of the interior space and its adjacency to contemporary wood furniture and artwork.

The broad range of available colors prompted the project designers to inject a touch of artistic flair by incorporating a random pattern featuring two unique and vibrant shades from the Covet Ever Art Wood collection.

The Covet batten proved to be the ideal material for the designers to bring their vision to life.

The culmination of these efforts resulted in a remarkable feature ceiling and wall detail, impeccably mirroring the authentic characteristics of real timber in terms of appearance, color, and texture, all achieved without the presence of any discernible screw fixings or fasteners.

Beyond its role as an artfully crafted mid-century timber backdrop, the meticulously designed and expertly crafted structure also serves a dual purpose as a privacy screen for the upper bedroom, providing a discreet vantage point overlooking the ground floor.

Spanning generously across a sizable window, the varied batten spacings facilitate the gentle filtration of natural light. This feature creates an ever-changing spectacle of shadows and patterns that elegantly dance across the space, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the entire environment.
