Kabebari Ever Art Wood® – two part concealed fix battens

Ever Art Wood ® is surface a treated Aluminum that looks like wood, and is often textured like wood. It is a lightweight, dimensionally accurate, virtually maintenance free material that is rigorously tested for UV and fire standards. The Kabebari batten is a simple yet elegant split batten system with a base for affixing to a frame or surface and a top that snaps onto the base concealing the screws inside.

The Kabebari batten offers 4 variants, each option offers characteristics tailored to suit a specific design aesthetic or application.

Kabebari Standard
Best suited for privacy screening, decorative batten screens, operable screens, or to span glazing.
The base plate is visible from side profile.

Kabebari Surface
Recommended for surface mounting directly to substrates. The batten cover clips in to fully shroud the mill-finished base plate. Upgrade to a fully wrapped finish is also available.

Kabebari Slimline
With a refined, low-profile, Slimline are most suited for intimate interior spaces; garage door applications where lightweight, low clearance battens are a consideration, or where a lighter aesthetic is desired.

Kabebari Suspend
A super light-weight, floating batten ceiling system that is practical, easy to install, with a cavity space for acoustic infills. Any Kabebari or Koshi batten can be affixed to T-sections suspended from steel ceiling rods.

Kabebari Standard

The base plate on the Kabebari Standard is visible on 3 sides of the batten profile. The visible depth of the base plate from a side profile varies and is dependent on the batten dimension selected.

Most suited to applications that span glazing, and the main aspect is viewed from the batten front and back, or where the base plate is upward facing, and partially exposed, such as pergola style applications.

The standard Kabebari batten is fully wrapped on all 4 sides.

Kabebari Surface

The batten cover of the Surface fully shrouds the base plate. The profile has no visible seams when viewing the side profile and is most suited to applications where one face of the batten is not visible, or a minimal seam, real timber aesthetic is desired.

Only the cover section (3 sides) of the Kabebari Surface is wrapped. The base plate is supplied in mill-finished aluminium as standard. A wrapped base plate can be supplied as an optional upgrade.

Kabebari Slimline

The Slimline design options are dimensionally smaller, sitting less proud from a structure, and characterised by a raised base plate for a shadow line effect that creates the illusion of depth.

Most suited for installations where weight restrictions are a consideration such as in garage installations, or where real estate is limited, or a lightweight aesthetic is desired.

The slimline batten covers are wrapped to 3 sides. The base plate is available in mill-finish aluminium only.

Most suited for applications where a small batten aesthetic with low profile is desired or a very light-weight batten profile is essential.

Kabebari Suspend

Super light-weight, floating batten ceiling system that pairs with any of the Kabebari batten range or the Koshi Standard Hollow Sections. It is a practical, easy to install, suspended ceiling batten system that allows for acoustic infills. Battens are affixed to supplied plain powder-coated T-sections, which are suspended from steel ceiling rods.

Note: Requires 3rd party Rondo Rods for suspension.

NOTE:
All dimensions are width x depth unless otherwise indicated.
Batten lengths are available in standard 4m or 6m lengths and can be cut to length.
For large quantities battens lengths can be made to order to reduce wastage and minimise cost.
Allow 8-12 weeks lead time as our timber look aluminium cladding is made to order in Japan.
